MARS Food Processing Solutions (FPS) recently launched a website to showcase the company’s latest processing efficiency solutions and give existing clients easy access to resources that support management of installed systems.
“When we formed the company, our focus was on quick expansion of efficiency solutions,” said MARS FPS Managing Member, Harry Batty. “Since last year, we have released three new solutions to the market, and increased our service and installation personnel by 50% which expedites service calls and large installations.”
The company’s recently released solutions include the Trimming Efficiency System, which measures operator output; the Stunner Monitoring and Reporting system, which monitors how well the stunner is functioning for meat quality and animal welfare; and the Chiller Efficiency System, which measures and reports important chiller functions including temperature, pressure and amperage.
When Meyhen International and Mattco Industrial Products merged with WG Mars to found the new company, ideas that addressed existing challenges already existed. “Together we were able to procure the financial and human resources necessary to bring those ideas to fruition and deliver vetted solutions to the market,” said Batty.
“We hope to deliver four new solutions a year in an effort to help poultry processors gain access to the information necessary to maximize plant efficiency.”
